Stupid question: is that you on On The Beach?

So I give up, who is that singing that song? I see that it's a Neil Young song, but is that him singing? It seems too smooth for be Young...

That voice is haunting me...

The best thing you could possibly do at this moment is find some insanely cheesy 80's big-hair song and record yourself to that instead.
I promise you it will help you with your radiohead once you return to it.

Trying to sound like Thom Yorke is impossible: that guy has such a fragile, wobbling and drifting voice that any attempts to sound like him will sound kinda powerless. You seem to have the same problem here: I can't say much about your voice itself yet because you aren't really singing your heart out. Hold the mic a bit further away (and compress it btw) and sing louder, more powerfull and like you actually mean it. Forget how the original vocals go, sing it in a way that makes sense to you, where you emphasize the words that matters most to you.
