It starts on D. It's DGC aminor. it has an eminor and a Bminor in it. It's the key of G. thanks for your response. I'm glad you like it.

Every now and then, I'm pleasantly surprised by what someone comes up with out of left field. This is one of those times! You've got a melody, decent lyrics and a good chord structure - all it needs is practising till you get the changes down perfect and you can sing the lyics without thinking about them.
