Just a little something I noticed earlier....
Of the 27 songs on my Soundclick site (there are 28 altogether, but there are two versions of one song) all but a handful owe their existence to Guitarnoise, and most of them to the SSG:
Vigilante Man, Cindy Incidentally and Stay With Me ("Jam Session") are covers;
Mother Carey's Chickens was inspired by a backing track Smokindog posted in Jams & Collabs - I added slide in standard tuning.
Midlife Crisis Male Menopause Blues was a collab with Blueline, who added most of the lyrics, and Chris C - I did the music.
Blink Of An Eye was inspired by an MSN conversation with Dave C; Screw The Neighbours was inspired by an MSN conversation with Grunge Sunset.
The Chain Song was a collaboration with (mostly) SSG regulars
In Her Purse was an original idea of Pearlthekat's from the SSG, to which a few people contributed lyrics - I pulled it into shape and added music.
Theology 101 - lyrics by D Hodge, from an SSG assignment;
Accordion - lyrics by Straycat, from another SSG assignment;
Sha-la-la-la-la-la, Freedom's Song, Back On Track, That's All Right, The Art Of Conversation, Beauty Sleeping, Under Open Skies, Devil In The Boy, I Never Believed, Stars, If You Don't Tell Me, Constant Chameleon, Blood On Your Hands, Masquerade and Devil's On The Loose are ALL SSG topics I wrote about;
Nothing I Can Do is the only original on there that pre-dates my GN membership.
So, 15 originals and four collabs, all down to the SSG. Now I only have another 88 SSG songs still to record!
:D :D :D
