Anything that gets presented in the new forum would be described in sickening detail so that anyone can jump right in.

As long as the "sickening detail" is as much fun as it's been the past year...   ;)

Your "new" format sounds like it will be both work and a challenge (for all of us involved!) and I'm all for it.

By the way, Alan's post got me to thinking... check out this thread:

Hey! Yes, Nick, this is a good idea! For me, it's harder to write music than lyrics! Thats because i've been playing guitar for 2 years, and i'm not so good at it, so i can only
play chords while im singing:) Last week, i sent 5 of my songs to our guitar player. My chords-relations were said to be old (G-F-C and such)! Allthough i disagree, cause im sure, that simplicity CAN be great for a songwriter. Then, he said, that my song got no shape and so.
And because i like critics (believe or not, they help me a lot!), i've been working on my music ever since. Help me! -let's talk about "modern", or should i say pop progression.
P.S. If there are any mistakes in my text, please forgive me-i'm from Slovenia!
Hope to hear from you soon,
Marc
