Week 44--Bounce Back To You

Hey Joe,

Thanks for the mixed case :D . This song is great, I love it. I've recently been recording a country song so I couldnt help putting your song to the music (a C G D progression ) works really well.
My only criticism is that Id quite like to know what you/he is going do differently so as not to make the same mistake again. Other than that this is good stuff.

I think you should post an mp3 for us :P.

Thanks Pbee. One of these days, I'll get there. First of all, I need a faster connection--ooh great line for a song--oh wait...it's been done. Sometimes I don't even get to listen to some of the great songs you guys post because it takes so long to load. One day, I may shock you and post fifty mp3's all at once, hehe--'cause once I get started, I probably won't be able to stop.

Anyway, thanks again. Oh, and in answer to your question of what he's gonna do differently. The answer is, absolutely nothing. He's hopeless, lol.

Hey Joe,

Ive only got a 56K modem and you can play the songs as LoFi streaming audio without any trouble. Uploading on 56K only takes about 5 - 10 minutes so thats not too bad. If your having trouble with SoundClicks online player, what I did was install winamp on my PC (this reassigns the mp3 associated application) which meant that the SoundClick Player on my PC wasnt fighting with the Soundclick Online Player. Then the streaming audio loads fine.

Hehe, just kidding. Five to ten minutes sounds about right. I must just be really impatient, 'cause that seems like a long time to me, especially since, they usually pile up and then I wanna hear a few at a time. I end up doing something else while it's loading, and then the song comes on while I'm out with the dogs or in the bathroom...or something. But I do appreciate the help. My "allotted" computer time lately, is divided between emptying the thousands of neglected emails in my inbox, trying to reciprocate critiques on Guitarnoise, research, and writing and editing (not necessarily in that order). Guess that's why ten minutes seems like such a...Oh crap, times up. Thanks again.

The 5 - 10 minutes was to upload your song on to the internet.

If you want to listen to someone elses song just click the lofi text on the SondClick page and it should stream on to your PC and start playing within a few seconds. Now thats gotta be fast, surely :D ?

To further decrease the upload time, you could reduce the quality of the mp3, the bitrate. But 5-10 minutes isn't that bad. Put it on for upload while you're off doing some replies here. Looking forward to hearing it :)
