Life Changes in the key of C
Is it hot in here baby, or is it just me?
Say, is it hot in here baby, or is it just me?
I think my body's on fire, these hot flashes killing me.
I went hot under the collar, the day that I met you
Ooo I went hot under the collar, on the day that I met you
Now I'm just hot all the time, and I don't know what to do .
Smokin hot instrumental:
Climb on in under the covers , and feel my body heat
Climb on in under the covers, baby, and feel my body heat
Let's rub some things together, and start a fire under the sheet.
Another cool instrumental:
Is it hot in here baby, or is it just me?
Lord is it hot in here baby, or is it just me?
I think my body's on fire, these hot flashes killing me.

Falling in love is like learning to play the guitar; first you learn to follow the rules, then you learn to play with your heart.
This from the lady who wants to write things in a lighter vein...
Very cool, Kathy. Trouble will be making sure you don't follow it up with Getaway...
Peace
you keep writing the songs that I wanted to wrote but couldn't.....
I need a cold shower now. Very cool lyrics.. for a very hot topic

I agree with pearlthekat, now THAT is a song I wish I wrote!

This was suppose to be a play on words kinda song about menopause, I'm not sure where I took a wrong turn!

I actually thought that based on the first verse and I was still there in the second, but I think the last line in the second verse is where it started its drift. The third verse is pretty much where everything gets out of control! Although you could say that it's all about raging hormones...
You're well on your way of being the pagan love goddess of the SSG, you know!

Like David that's what I thought at first too.
As I read along though the "hot flashes" seemed a little out on place
Other than that it's a very sexy song.

I'll take it. I may be getting old, but I'm not dead yet!

Why not? This is a semi- anonymous venue, the perfect place I think, to let my alter ego loose!

This is not fair . . .
She can play
She's got a great voice & can use it,
and she can write.
ah :!:
. . . now I've got the idea (and suitably depressed mood  ) for my lyrics.
gimme a second - i feel a song coming on

Yeah, life's a real drag, innit?

Well on the way? When you record this, Kathy, I'm going to play it in the bedroom with the "mood lighting" set to "playful" and plenty of rose petals strewn around.....
:D :D :D
