First, I haven't searched this forum, for this song so if its on the first page of the index, My BAD...and I apologize.
/pre-post grovel
Ok, this song has been rattle'n around for a few days and I can't remember who sang it to save my life.
One of the lines go...
"Give a little bit..... Give a little bit of your life to me....." repeats with similiar
then something like.. "there are times when we need to share and times.........something something.... way back home..... Give a little bit...."
I'm thinking it may be Supertramp?

Supertramp originally. The Goo Goo Dolls more recently.
Check Hodge's lessons - I think it's in the intermediate section IIRC. One of my favorite songs, and one of the first lessons I tackled upon finding GN. :)
Edit: yep, it's an intermediate lesson; here ya go: https://www.guitarnoise.com/lessons/give-a-little-bit/
"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."
SuperTramp was the group I remember singing it.
