ok, i hope you're laughing as hard as i am.  the point is, i know enough about scales and chords to realize that i need/want to undertake an in depth study of music theory.  

is this thread the type of thing that is discussed in that book i always see by your name, noteboat?

i've taken a look at a few books on music theory, and they don't seem to get much past 'circle of fifths'.

i think it would be great if i had a 'promotional' copy of your book.  then i could tell everyone how valuable it is to a beg/int. player.  j/k. :)
