Bish, a beautiful guitar. It seems that we have similar tastes when it comes to guitars. I love the blonde.
Thanks, man!!

Nice axe, Bish! I'm jealous!
And, the neck joint IMO is a reflection of a quality guitar. That one looks flawless :D
Ewan McGregor: I said, "Eve, I want you to look after my wedding ring while I'm away," and she started to cry and I said, "Eve. Eve, I can't wear my ring or I won't get laid on the trip!"
Yeah, it sure is pretty, Bish!
"A cheerful heart is good medicine."
I've never seen that color before. It looks too nice to play. The first scratch is the hardest to get over. Might as well get it out of the way.
Congrats! That thing is cool 8)
That's on of the prettiest LP's I've ever seen.

Thank you everyone for checking it out.
I have to say that after having this guitar for a few days, playing the same songs with all my guitars for comparison here's what I've found.
My Fender Deluxe...just a tad twangier than the Ibanez, PRS or LP. The sustain and clarity isn't as prominent. I most definitely need to change the strings, too.
My Ibanez...Nice tones and easy to play with great action and solid fretboard.
The New LP...darker tone wise and a little harder to hit the high E notes as precisely as the Ibanez or the PRS.
My Pride and Joy PRS...Can do all of the above, can sound like any one of the above, has better action and neck comfort. Has the contours of the Strat and the sustain of the LP.
All in all, the PRS outshines all of them for tuning, playability, tonal quality, sustain and comfort.
In summary, they all have their assets but for me, if I had to stick with one guitar, it would most definitely be the PRS.

What's PRS?

I don't want to hijack this thread but . . . .
I'm going to ask for your advice on buying a guitar.
I just started (3 months ago)
I got the starter package "Stop Dreamin', Start Playin'" Squier Fender Strat
and I can tell that I'm going to want something with a little wider neck than a strat.
When I play a C chord my index finger has a tendency to cause the G string to buzz. Not much I can do about it. My finger is about as perpendicular as I can get it. I just feel if I had a little more room between strings up there by the first fret.
I was looking at the Ibanez SZ520 and now looking at the PRS link, I find several models I like too.
I want the tuners on both sides.
My style of music that I want to pursue is mostly 70's rock but John Denver, James Taylor, Neil Diamond would also be at the top of my list. So I guess 70's to 80's era music.
Definitely not heavy metal so I don't think I need the crunch and overdrive and whatnot that goes with heavy metal.
Don't like jazz. (In fact I find it irritating)
What kind of guitar would you suggest?
It's the rock that gives the stream its music . . . and the stream that gives the rock its roll.
Hi Ken. First off, I'd suggest starting a new thread in the 'I'm Looking For A New....' section. You'll probably get some more response there. Having said that.....
Which SZ520 you looking at? I went with a cheaper Ibanez for my 2nd guitar after experiencing what you have with your Strat on my first guitar. I could not even do a clean Am with it, but I cleared the strings just fine the first time I picked up the Ibanez. Sold.

I got an SZ520, the guitar on my avatar
I really enjoy to play on it.
I can play almost anything with it, clean song as Stairway to Heaven, or heavy metal song like Metallica.
The scales is a bit shorter than normal, and the neck is thin, so that makes the guitar really easy to play. You also have a great sustain with the string that are going through the body.
I've been playing for one year and a half now, so when I bought it 6 months ago, I had not experienced many guitar in my life, but this one looked good, sounded great and was easy to play so, I paid for it.
When I got back with it to my guitar lesson, my teacher tried it (he's a professionnal guitarist) and told be I had a really good price for this great guitar. I got another teacher later and he also comment on my guitar, saying that it was a very good guitar.
So, just try it and you'll see. I don't know about the other guitar you're looking for
To give you an idea of the sound, here's some video I put in the beginner video section (it sounds better live than on video  ):

OK, posting my question there.

Nice one Bish, waiting for a Tom Anderson Cobra S to arrive there is no escape from GAS.
Happy New Year to you and yours.

Those who can't dance always blame the band.
I love a natural maple flame top. I'd love to get a good looking Gibson in that. For Now, I have an Agile 2000LP. It may be a photo flame, but I think not. At any rate, mine looks great. Yours looks great. I think natural flame maple tops look great. Sweet. "No, Dude! What's Mine Say?"
It is a small world for metal fanatics. I welcome you fellow musicians, especially the metalheads!
