Just listened to your take on this BT, Arjen.
Great work, man. Really enjoyed this, although having heard quite a bit of your stuff on these forums I wouldn't expect anything else. Great tone too.
Thanks for joining in.

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.
It was them that turned me to drink.
Thanks for your honesty Arjen. I totally agree. Fully uninspired. I just couldn't find the groove. Or I got lazy. Or both.
lol I guess my post here is going to sound somehwat silly then.
Great job everyone, they're all very good. Gotta say though, my favorite is Hue's. Love the slide guitar here, sounds great.
TRGuitar - awesome job by the way, vocals are veryyyy badass. You guys did great.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Taso. If I had to pick, I would say I enjoyed Smokin's the most but in all it sounds like everyone had a whole lot more fun with it than I was able to muster up. Great job all! If it was fun, what more could you ask for?
Thanks for all the great comments everyone! :D Lots of praise & some good advice on areas to improve on.
Bish, post your jam whenever you get it finished... I'm anxious to hear what you come up with! 8)
My favorite things about each:
Vic - love the melodic riffs you got going on & the cool overdriven tone! 8) I'm glad you joined & you can hang with the best of 'em! :D
TR & Thunderfingers - I like the "mid-eastern" vibe you guys got going on. The harmonic squeels are killer, and the toilet flushing at the end is great! 8)
Chuckster - Love the big bends & great tone. :D
Dog - I like the added bass line, and the lead guitar accents. The Poe addition was cool, and the keyboard ending is killer! 8)
Me - I used my GT-6 with a ton of effects. Not overdubbed as most people think - one take.
Kalle - I wish I used your bass on the BT for this jam. Nicely done! 8)
OWA - your playing has improved greatly and it shows here. All the best to you! 8)
Hue - Love the drums & slide guitar. 8) One of my favs! :D
Celt - One word - SPOOKY! 8) Great job!
Sleutelbos - Hey, thanks for joining the jam! :D Pleasant surprise! Loud screaming rock n' roll guitar... just the way I like it! 8)
This was extra fun to host & listen to what each person added to the BT that I made myself. Thanks again to Margaret for encouraging me to do this. :D Thanks to everyone who jammed with me, you all rock! 8)

Just banged my head on my desk
Didn't know what to expect and got a pleasant surprise, one of these days I would love to join in. All having fun, all in the right key and all in the groove what more can I say except thanks.

Those who can't dance always blame the band.
OK .... OK ... Some of you liked my entry ..... but there was critism. Now, I admit, I don't like to be critisized but ...... this is how we learn and grow. I appreciate the honesty! I have redone my entry, so if you would all listen and comment ... it would be welcomed and appreciated. I got rid of the out of tune notes .... least the ones I think folks were calling out of tune and I brought the vocals up .... actually redid them. The song is off color .... it's about turds that won't flush. Enjoy!

I gotta say TR, I thought the lyrics were about you going to a "party", not the "potty"!  The toilet flushing at the end makes sense now though... I like both versions, but I think my vote would go to the 1st one if I had to choose one. Your solo in the second sounded alittle forced at times, but in the 1st one it just flowed. Must have been all that beer! :P Either way, I think your playing rocks! 8) Thanks again.

Great job, everybody! 8)
Quite a variety of styles there!

When my mind is free, you know a melody can move me
And when I'm feelin' blue, the guitar's comin' through to soothe me ~

Yeah, the first one was spontanious ... the second .. I was trying to please people. That is never good. Sorry for the off color lyrics. I'm a nurse and if you can't laugh at feces and emesis .. get the heck out and get a new job! Did you know that floaters indicate a high fecal fat content? Fat floats. A healthy diet will produce sinkers. Well, enough of that, I'm sure my clear version of the lyrics did enough to turn people away. My next song will be about gum drops ......... NOT!
