I heard one in the store while trying to figure out which amp I wanted. It seems very good value for the money. Not all the effects are going to please everyone, but they should be enough to get you started. And it's all in one self contained unit.

If you like the latest music, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
On the other hand, it wouldn't be my first choice for classic rock or blues.

It IS a very nice amp, and it will not hinder your progress in any way. This actually was an amp I had been looking at. However, recently Behringer released their new lines of amp, and you can get a real killer for a lot less:

This should cost in the US about $99! That means you can buy two 30watt analogue modelling amps for less then the cube. Trust me, it sounds awesome. Check it out.

Or you can get the GMX110, which is the same as the GM110, but with onboard effects.

Should cost around $170 if you look around.

All three of the amps listed in this message would be worth getting. The modeling technology has come a long way in recent years. Have fun with what ever you decide.

Just thoughts
