Anyone heard of these? My wife found one on eBay at a silly price, and bought it for me 8)

Solid-state 60W, very good construction, real heavy birch ply open back cabinet, 1x10", very nice proper spring reverb, hi & lo gain inputs, master volume, good selection of DI, slave etc. outputs on the back.

Sounds wonderful - VERY LOUD despite only a 10" speaker - sparkling cleans, OK overdrive, ideal platform for a processor - wonderful creamy drive sounds with my GFX-1. Really nice distinctive, woody natural tone.

But I've never heard of them, and Googling doesn't help - only turns up dead links on Piedog, etc.

Played out with the new amp for the first time tonight, at our regular pub gig. The other guitarist was using a Blackface Twin, and the Swift just sounded excellent beside it :D :D :D Couldn't have asked a much more conclusive test! The little beast simply has so much tone, and more than enough power for that kind of gig. Maybe no one has ever heard of it, but I've got a keeper there 8)

Couldn't resist a pic (this is at home..)

Nice. I can't say I've ever heard of them. Were you looking for one, or did your wife just think it would make a good gift?

I was kind of thinking I needed a 50W or so, but reasonably portable, for pubs and such, but I hadn't got around to seriously looking. Jan just spotted this one, and bought it without even telling me 8)

She still amazes me, that woman, on a regular basis :D :D :D

(The amp's actually a bit larger than it appears in the photo - stands roughly 18" tall - the lens has made the Strat seem too big, since it's in the foreground...)

That's awesome. Will we be hearing clips any time soon?

I've never heard of those amps, but I'm glad you got a good one. :D

Your wife is really cool to buy that for you! 8) Very thoughtful. :D Better take her out for dinner or something!

At the very least

As soon as I can get something rigged up, OHG! At the moment I've no way of recording via mic to my PC at home. Either I'll kludge something together, or we'll record a clip at a practice or something...
