Just a quick update on Mr Lyons , Parramatta Eels the club he walked out on , has told the coach Mr Brian Smith he services won't be required after 2006 . So don't be surprised if he returns to my team the Eels .....
I believe there was alot of conflict between the two .......

There was an interview with Jamie recently in the paper, he was quoted as saying he'd love to return to Paramatta....so looks like he'll have one more season at St Helens then....shame!

Have you noticed how all the colonies stick together :D Just kidding guys. Congrats to the Aussies on making the world cup, just remember that when we win it next year, England will have two world cups and the ashes, oh the joy :D :D :D

oh the colonies thing getting thrown around again ...
Ever noticed that Aussies only go to England to take the British jobs ?? I can tell you it's not the wether or the beer we go over there for , we actually import our own beer to England to drink . And might I add the poms have taken to Fosters like a duck to water .....
MMM Hilch when he said MIGHT bloody hell mate talk about putting the horse before the cart .....
Germany will be the favourites I feel with the home ground advantage , and not having to travel to a foriegn country . I see the big threat as being one of the Asian countries again myself ....
England will fall over at the Cup Qualifying round again much to the disgust of the media and public , Brazil will be there or there abouts ...

Harry Kewell is the only Liverpool player who can walk through the streets of Liverpool without being stopped and asked for an autograph - no one recognises him without a bench stuck to his backside....
Congrats to the Aussies on reaching the world cup finals....I can see it now, the final, England v Australia...Kewell misses the match, stepped on a ball in training...Viduka out for a first ball duck....and in the last minute of extra time, Stevie G scores the winner with a drop goal from 30 yards....
Oh wait...I'm getting confused here....

No arguments from me about Beckham.....I just hope if any game goes to penalties, Beckham and Owen have been substituted....
Foster's GOOD....but ask a brit about XXXX, and you'll get an answer along the lines of "who gives a XXXX"....along with Greenall Whitley Bitter, file under "OK for putting on chips (fries)"....
Apart from that there are only two things Australian I don't like...."Neighbours" and anyone formerly in Neighbours who releases records....
BTW, is Russell Crowe from Australia, or New Zealand? I only ask because I know the Crowe brothers, Martin and Jeff, both captained New Zealand, and they're cousins....

he actually comes from Kiwi land ( New Zealand ) but we claimed him ..... ha ha
I'm lead to believe that he studied in Australia and thats why he was claimed as a Australian.....
He actually said recently that he was just a knock-about-Australian-lad in a interview on Austa T.V ( pay Tv ) I can not remember who was interviewing him though ...
Don't get me started about those prima-Donnas who are in soap orperas then release songs AGHHHH.....
It's currently raining here West Indies are really struggling against the might of the baggy green boys ....

There's a famous textbook definition of the diet of one of our native animals (I think it was the wombat) that goes "Eats roots shoots and leaves".
This has been widely quoted as also equating to the wooing habits of the average Australian male! :shock: Just add a couple of commas - "Eats, roots, shoots and leaves....." :P
